By Sea: One can travel to Andaman & Nicobar Islands through sea transport as well. Kolkata, Vishakhapatnam and Chennai are the major routes to reach Andaman. But people always prefer traveling by air

By Road: A stretch of about 240 Km between Port Blair and Maya Bunder is covered by bus transport. From Maya Bunder one can change the buses to travel up to Kalighat, Diglipur which is the end point of Andaman. Hundreds of buses run between Port Blair and South Andaman for the convenience of passengers. Apart from buses tourists can also hire private cabs, taxis and luxury coaches to move in and around the Andaman & Nicobar.
