Description: Arunachal Pradesh is a thinly populated federated state of India located in the far North East. It is bordered with Burma in the East, Bhutan in the Northwest, China in the North. How to Reach: Arunachal Pradesh is one of the smallest states of India and is located in the East regions in the foothills of Himalayas. It is well connected with other parts of the country with air, rail and road.

By Air: Arunachal Pradesh itself does not have any airport but it is accessible by air through the airports of nearby areas. The nearest airport is Lilabari in Assam which is 67 Km from Itanagar. Another important airport is Tezpur which is also in Assam and is 216 Km from Itanagar and is connected to Kolkata. Indian Airlines has regular flights to Tezpur.

By Rail: The closest railway station to Arunachal Pradesh is Harmuty which is located near to Banderdewa gate at a distance of 33 Km from Itanagar. The other nearest railhead is Lakhimpur in Assam which is about 60 Km from Itanagar.

By Road: Road network of Arunachal Pradesh that connects to the adjoining states like Guwahati, Shilong, Agartala, Kolkata and other major regions of India.
