Destinations Covered: Darjeeling – Pelling – Kalimpong – Gangtok
Day 01: Darjeeling
Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station by our representative who then escorts you to Darjeeling, the starting point of East India Adventure Tour. Drive through Nepal border and stop midway at Mirick Lake. Continue drive to Darjeeling and check in to hotel on arrival for overnight stay.
Day 02: Darjeeling
Leave for a post-breakfast city sightseeing tour including Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Enjoy some adventure of ropeway and later proceed to Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, Tea Estate, Lebong Race Course, Peace Pagoda and Rock Garden – Gangamaya Park. Return to the hotel for night stay.
Day 03: Darjeeling – Pelling
On day 03 of East India Adventure Tour, we take you on an early morning excursion to Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Return to hotel for breakfast and then proceed to the Pemyangtse (Pelling), the next destination in your adventure tour to East India. Check in to hotel upon arrival for overnight stay.
Day 04: Pelling
Leave for a post breakfast city sightseeing tour covering Rimbi Waterfalls, Rimbi Hydel Project, Khecheopari Lake, Kanchenjunga Falls, Singsor Bridge and Dentam Village (including Alpine Cheese Factory). Retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 05: Pelling – Kalimpong
Kalimpong is the next stopover in East India Adventure Tours. Check out from hotel after breakfast and proceed on a journey to Kalimpong. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and relax for a while. Later, half-day city sightseeing tour covering Deolo Hill, Dr Graham Homes School, Thonga Goma Monastery, Mangaldham and Nurseries. Stay for the night at the hotel.
Day 06: Kalimpong – Gangtok
Post breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Upon arrival, we take you on sightseeing visits to Gangtok Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Enchey Monastery, Research Institute of Tibetology, Chorten Stupa, Orchid Sanctuary and Rumtek Monastery. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 07: Gangtok
You have another day of your East India Adventure Tour Package to spend in Gangtok. Breakfast at hotel and later tour of Thshangu Lake and Baba Mander, the two most popular destinations in all East India tours. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: Departure
East India Adventure Tour ends today and you check out from hotel after breakfast to proceed to NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport where you board scheduled flight/train back home or to onward destination.
