Day 01: Arrival Darjeeling
On day 01 of East India Hill Tour, arrive at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station where you meet our representative who escorts you to Darjeeling. Check in to hotel upon arrival for overnight stay.
Day 02: Darjeeling
Leave for a post-breakfast city sightseeing tour to Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Later enjoy ropeway activities and then proceed to Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, Tea Estate, Lebong Race Course, Peace Pagoda and Rock Garden – Gangamaya Park. Return to the hotel for night stay.
Today early morning, we take you on an excursion to Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop that are a must visit in tours to East India. Return to the hotel where you will be served breakfast and later proceed to Mirik Lake crossing Nepal border en route. The lake is a must visit during Darjeeling tours. Night stay at hotel.
Day 04: Darjeeling – Kalimpong
East India Hill Tour today proceeds to Kalimpong. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Kalimpong. Check in to hotel upon arrival. Later, proceed for a city sightseeing tour covering Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham Homes School, Thonga Goma Monastery, Mangaldham and Nurseries. Stay for the night at the hotel.
Day 05: Kalimpong – Gangtok
Gangtok is the next destination in East India Tours. Breakfast at hotel, check out and then our representative takes you to Gangtok. Transfer to hotel upon arrival for overnight stay.
Day 06: Gangtok
Full day city sightseeing tour after breakfast. Start with a visit to the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms and later proceed to Enchey Monastery, Research Institute of Tibetology, Chorten Stupa, Orchid Sanctuary, Rumtek Monastery, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok and Tashi Viewpoint that are a part of all East India tour packages. Retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 07: Gangtok
You have another day of East India Hill Tour in Gangtok. Leave for a post breakfast visit to Thshangu Lake and Baba Mander and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 08: Departure
Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station where you board scheduled flight/train back home or for onward destination. End of East India Hill Tour.
