Day 01: Darjeeling
Darjeeling is the first destination in your East India Tour Package. Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station, our representative meets you and escorts you to Darjeeling. Check in to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Darjeeling
Today we take you on a full day city sightseeing tour after breakfast. The tour package includes visit to Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Later exciting ropeway thrill and further visit to Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, Tea Estate, Lebong Race Course, Japanese Temple - Peace Pagoda, Lal Kothi, Dhirdham Temple, Ava Art Gallery and Natural History Museum. Return to the hotel for night stay.
Day 03: Darjeeling
Before breakfast, go for an excursion tour to Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop early in the morning. Return to hotel where you will be served breakfast and then proceed to Rock Garden – Gangamaya Park, one of the must visit places in Darjeeling tour packages. Stay for another night in Darjeeling.
Day 04: Darjeeling
You spend yet another day of your East India Tour Package in Darjeeling city. Breakfast at hotel and then proceed for a short visit to Mirik Lake reached via Nepal border. Spend the entire day there and then retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 05: Darjeeling – Pelling
Pelling is the next destination in your tour package for East India. Check out from hotel after breakfast and proceed to Pemyangtse (Pelling). Transfer to hotel upon arrival. Later, leave for a half-day city sightseeing tour covering Pemyangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Palace, Khecheopalri Lake and Sing Shore Bridge. Stay for the night at the hotel.
Day 06: Pelling – Kalimpong
East India Tour now proceeds to Kalimpong. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Kalimpong. Upon arrival, relax for a while and then leave for sightseeing at Deolo Hill, Dr Graham Homes School, Thonga Goma Monastery, Mangaldham and Nurseries. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Kalimpong – Gangtok
Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Gangtok. Upon arrival, check in at hotel and spend the night there.
Day 08: Gangtok
Leave for a post breakfast city sightseeing tour covering the major tourist places of East India Tours. Start with a visit to the Gangtok Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Enchey Monastery, Research Institute of Tibetology, Chorten Stupa, Orchid Sanctuary, Rumtek Monastery, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok and Tashi Viewpoint. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09: Gangtok
Have your breakfast at the hotel and then leave for a visit to Thshangu Lake and Baba Mander that are largely visited as part of the tour package for East India. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10: Departure
East India Tour Package ends today and you check out from hotel after breakfast to proceed to NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport where you board scheduled flight/train back home or to onward destination.
