Haryana offers a multicultural dignity and mixed lingual decorum. A large part of the people of Haryana obeys Hinduism and thus observes traditional Hindu beliefs. Shiva, Vishnu, Rama, Krishna, Hanuman and Kali are major deities to be worship with ardent rituals. Temples are built for mainly Vishnu also known as Rama and Narayan and Shiva.
Muslims occupies about 5% of the total population of Haryana. Threecategories of Muslims in Haryana as the Asharf or Sharaf (noble) form
the higher caste, and the Ajlaf (base or mean) is the middle with Arzal (lowest of all) coming at the end. Muslims can also be categorized as Muslim Rajputs and converted Muslims. Christians, Jains and Buddhists are also exists across the state. Sikhism in Haryana is a major religion and thus occupies in a large numbers in central and west Haryana.
