Kasauli is a cantonment and town located in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. Established during the regime of British Raj in 1842, Kasauli is a beautiful colonial hill station. Monkey Point: Situated at a distance of 4 km from Kasauli and named after Rishi Man-ki who is believed to have been a great devotee of Lord Hanuman, Monkey Point is among the most popular tourist attractions in Kasauli. It is also the highest point in the town from where you can enjoy spectacular views of the lush green Chandigarh plains and River Satluj. The area now comes under the Air Force domain and hence tourists are not allowed to carry personal belongings, camera etc for security reasons.
Baba Balak Nath Temple: Located atop the Graner Hill at a distance of 3 km from Kasauli , the temple is among the largely visited Kasauli tourist attractions. Built in the name of Sidh Baba Balak Nathji, the temple speaks of an interesting legend. It is believed that the temple was built by one Vijay Kumar, a resident of the area after Baba Balak Nathji himself appeared in his dream and ordered him to build a temple. Baba Balak Nath Temple commands immense belief among people from far and wide, particularly childless couples who come to the temple from different parts of the country to seek the blessings of the saint. The baptism ceremony is also then conducted at the temple itself.
Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir: A popular shrine in Kasauli, the temple lies barely half a kilometer away from Garkhal. It was built by Sai Sudha Trust in the year 1989 and houses a striking idol of Sai Baba. A large number of Sai devotees from far and wide visit the temple to seek the blessings of Sai Baba.

Dharampur: The town is among the frequented excursions from Kasauli hill resort situated at a distance of 15 km from Kasauli. It houses the widely acclaimed hospital that treats several cases of Tuberculosis. Dharampur lies on NH-22 and is a beautiful site nestled in the heart of tall pine trees.
Bilaspur: Yet another popular tourist excursion point near Kasauli is Bilaspur. The town attracts tourists to its ancient forts, temples and picturesque dams. It is also a favorite for adventure lovers providing ample scope for thrilling sports like paragliding, water rafting, trekking etc.
