Himachal Pradesh is hugely dominated by Hindus, bearing more than 95.77% total population, followed by the Muslims (1.63%). The Buddhists occupies 1% of the population who lives in the trans-Himalayan areas of Lahaul and Spiti, Kinnaur and Kulu. Sikhs (1.2%) are found in Himachal Pradesh in a little extend. There also lays Christian population with a minimal range as 0.1%.
