Mannadi Kav Temple: Mannadi Kav temple is located about 13 km from Adoor . It is famous due to Velu Thampi Dalawa a freedom fighter who sacrificed his life for the nation. The stone sculptures in ancient Bhagavathy temple are also remarkable. The annual festival Ushabali is the major festival of this temple which is celebrated in the month of February/ March. Kalabali, Pooppada, Kaliyoottu, Adu vetti kurithi, Kalamezhuthum pattum, Navarathri kuruthi, Villu Pattum Kuruthi, and Ponnummudi Ezhunnellipp are the other important festivals of this temple.
Kaviyoor Temple: Situated at a distance of 5 km from Thiruvalla on the banks of river Manimala River is a must visit place during the excursions from Pathanamthitta. The presiding deity of this temple is Lord Hanuman. This 8th Century temple is preserved as a historical monument by the Archaeological Department.
Kadammanitta Patayani: Situated at a distance of 8 Km from Pathanamthitta is a small village which is famous for its annual Patayani festival held in the premises of the Devi temple. The festival is conducted from the first day of Malayalam month Medam (April) to tenth day. Patayani a ritual art is performed as an offering to Goddess. The tenth day of the festival is considered to be the most auspicious which is celebrated as Pathamudayam.
Kodumon Chilanthiyambalam: Chilanthiyambalam Temple is situated in Kodumon panchayat which is about 15 km from Pathanmathitta town. It is believed that this temple was built during the reign of the last king of the Sakthibhadra Kingdom.
