Day 1 Kolkata/Calcutta
Your India holiday begins when you arrive in Kolkata/Calcutta - the City of Joy. The executive from India Holiday Packages will receive you at the airport and help you transfer to your hotel. Afternoon city sightseeing tour covering the Victoria Memorial, the building of the British Raj Period; Indian Museum, built in 1874, the oldest museum in India; the architectural marvel Howrah Bridge and the renowned garden housing the cricket ground also - The Eden Gardens. Day 2 Darjeeling
Board a flight for Bagdogra and then proceed towards the holiday resort of Darjeeling by car. The Queen of the Hills, Darjeeling in the laps of Himalayan ranges presents the spectacular views of natural beauty and greenery. Darjeeling is a wonderful vacation destination. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Darjeeling
Early morning lead an excursion to the Tiger Hills, the famous vantage point for viewing the colourful sunrise. Continue with the city sightseeing tour. Afternoon is free for leisure and independent activities.
Day 4 Pemayangtse
Depart for Pemayangtse by car from Sikkim. Pay an afternoon visit to the monastery. This place is a seat of Buddhism since ancient times. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 Gangtok
Depart for Gangtok, the capital of the beautiful state of Sikkim. Afternoon is free to roam around viewing the spectacular scenery, Buddhist monasteries and the magnificent views of the Kanchenjunga range. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 Gangtok
In the morning visit Rumtek Monastery about 24 kms away from Gangtok. Return to Gangtok in the afternoon to have a fantastic city tour. The major holiday attractions in Gangtok include Tsuk-La-Khang, Institute of Tibetology, Orchid Sanctuary, Enchey Monastery, which are visited by you.
Day 7 Kolkata/Calcutta
From Gangtok depart for Bagdogra by car. After reaching Bagdogra board a flight to Kolkata/Calcutta. Transfer to the airport where the executive from India Holiday Packages will help you to proceed towards your onward destination.
