Nalagarh is a fascinating place
that is 300 Km from Delhi. It is
the gateway to Himachal Pradesh

In 1100 A.D., Raja Ajai Chand founded Nalagarh as the capital of the kingdom of Hindu. Chandela Rajputs ruled over this place. The Chandela kings were great patrons of art and architecture. The Ramgarh Fort and the town of town fo Ramshere was built by Raja Ram Chander. The last ruler of the Nalagarh was Raja Surendra Singh and the present ceremonial ruler is Raja Vijayendra, son of Surendra Singh.
