The state is alos famous for its culinary genius dishes like Puranpoli, Ukadiche Modak, Gulpoli, Laddoos, Basundi and Chakali etc. About 80% people of the state follow Hinduism and Ganesh Chaturthi is the most celebrated festival of the state that is celebrated with great joy and fervor by people of all casts and religions.
