Day 01: Arrival Gangtok - Lachen
Arrive at Gangtok from where your North Sikkim Tour Package starts. Our representative meets you at the hotel in the morning and escorts you to Lachen (120 km) perched at 9800 ft. Stop midway for sightseeing at Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungstok and Naga Waterfalls, the most popular tourist places in North Sikkim Tours. Halt for lunch at Namok and then continue drive to Lachen. Upon arrival in the evening, check in at Gurudongmar Lodge for overnight stay.
Day 02: Lachen – Thangu – Chopta Valley – Lachen – Lachung
Your tour package for North Sikkim today proceeds to the two most picturesque hill resorts of Sikkim. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Thangu (13,000 ft.) and Chopta Valley (13,200 ft), a must visit in East India Tours. At noon, drive back to Lachen and have your lunch. Later continue journey to Lachung, the next stopover in your North Sikkim Tour Package. Sightseeing at Twin Waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls en route. Continue drive to Lachung and on arrival in the evening, transfer to hotel for night stay.
Day 03: Lachung – Yumthang - Lachung
Today we take you on a full day excursion to Yumthang. Breakfast at hotel and then drive to Yumthang (11,800 ft), a popular visit in all Sikkim tour packages. We stop for a while at the medical hot springs en route. On arrival at Yumthang, enjoy its breathtaking beauty and then return to Lachung where you will be served lunch. Later, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour covering Lachung Monastery, Cottage Industry and the picturesque Waterfalls. Retire to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04: Lachung – Gangtok – Departure
North Sikkim Tour Package ends today. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Gangtok by road. Halt at the area between Singhik & Mangan en route where you can enjoy panoramic views of the mighty Khangchendzonga Range including Mt. Pandim, Mt. Kabru, Mt. Simvo, Mt. Jopuno, Mt. Khangchendzonga and Mt. Siniolchu. Lunch will be served at Namok and then proceed for a short visit to the famous Phodong Monastery. End of tour package for North Sikkim, East India.
