Chennai – Port Blair - Havelock Island – Chennai
Day 01: Arrival in Chennai
Arrive at the Chennai Airport, where our representative will escort you for your transfer to the hotel. Check in at the hotel for an overnight stay in Chennai.
Day 02: Chennai
Post breakfast, head for a full day excursion to Mahabalipuram, a famous seaport that was ruled by the great Pallava Kings between 8th and 10th century AD. The well-versed India Holiday guide will enlighten you with the history of the rock cravings and the shore temple there. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Chennai.
Day 03: Chennai – Port Blair
The third day of your Andaman Tour begins with a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. Then India Holiday representative would escort you to the Chennai Airport for your flight to Port Blair. Arrive at Port Blair Airport, where an India Holiday representative will be waiting to escort you to the hotel. Freshen up yourself and then move for a sightseeing tour of Port Blair. Visit places like Cellular Jail, Chatham Saw Mill, Gandhi Park, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries Museum and Samudrika in Port Blair. Enjoy the saga of heroic freedom struggle that is brought alive in a moving Son-et-Lumiere show that is shown daily sharp at 7:15pm. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Port Blair.
Day 04: Port Blair
Move on for a full day excursion to Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park, Cinque Islands and Wandoor on the 4th day of your Andaman Tour. Spread over an area of 281.5 sq. kms, Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park is made up of open sea, fifteen small and large islands. This famous park acts as a base to visit other places like Cinque Islands and Jolly Buoy. Return for an overnight stay at your hotel in Port Blair.
Day 05: Port Blair
After a healthy breakfast, move on for a half day city tour of Chidiya Tapu, located at a distance of 25 kms from Port Blair. Also known as Bird Island, Chidiya Tapu is full of lush green mangroves and is surrounded by a beach. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Port Blair. Here ends the 5th day of your Andaman Tour.
Day 06: Port Blair
Post breakfast head for a full day excursion at Andaman water sports complex/ Rowing boats, paddleboats, kayaks, aqua-cycle, aqua-glide and bumper boats are some of the facilities that you can enjoy at the Andaman Water Sports Complex. Try your hand at Para-sailing, sail boats, Gemini boats, water scooters, water-skiing, speedboats, glass bottom boats and windsurfing at the park. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 07: Port Blair
Have a sumptuous breakfast and leave for a half-day tour of Corbyn’s Cove Tourism Complex situated at a distance of 7 kms from Port Blair. Enjoy facilities like water sports, swimming, surfing and rest at the restaurant and bar there. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay. Here ends the 7th day of your Andaman Tour.
Day 08: Port Blair – Havelock Island
Post breakfast head for an overnight trip to Havelock Island, located at a distance of about 54 kms from Port Blair. Get to see the unpolluted nature amidst the lush green forest and surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches at this island. Have fun at the Radha Nagar Beach. Return to the hotel at Havelock for an overnight stay.
Day 09: Havelock Island – Port Blair
Have breakfast and then get transferred to Port Blair. Have an overnight stay at the hotel in Port Blair.
Day 10: Port Blair – Chennai - Departure
Post breakfast you will be escorted by an India Holiday representative for a transfer to the airport from where you will board your flight back home. Here ends your Andaman Tour.
Note: Entry Requirements:
Foreign national can stay in the Andaman Islands for only a period of 30 days, however this can be extended by 15 days with permission. A permit to stay is required and that can be easily obtained on arrival at Port Blair from the immigration authorities. Apart from the immigration authorities, the permit can also be obtained from:
1)Indian Mission Overseas
2)Foreigners Registration Offices at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata.
3)The immigration authorities at the airport at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.
