Day 01: Arrive at Chennai
Arrive at Chennai airport to start your South India Religious Tour. Welcome on arrival by our representative who escorts you to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Chennai – Tirupathi – Chennai
After breakfast, we take you on a full day excursion to Tirupathi, the famous pilgrimage site in South India Religious Tour. Visit the century old Lord Venkateswara Temple and return to the hotel in the evening for night stay.
Day 03: Chennai - Kanchipuram
Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Kanchipuram by road (76 kms/1 ˝ hours). The ‘City of Thousand Temples’, Kanchipuram is home to nearly 124 shrines and is a must visit in every religious tour to South India. Upon arrival, check in to hotel and spend the night here.
Day 04: Kanchipuram - Tiruvannamalai - Pondicherry
After breakfast, transfer to Tiruvannamallai, another famous temple town in Tamil Nadu. Later drive to Pondicherry, the next destination in your tour to South India temples. Upon arrival, check in to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Pondicherry
Leave for a post breakfast visit to Aurbindo Ashram (10 km north of Pondicherry). Spend the day there and return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 06: Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Tanjore
The next destination in your temple tour package for South India is Tanjore. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Chidambaram by road. After sightseeing, continue drive to Tanjore and upon arrival, transfer to hotel to stay for the night.
Day 07: Tanjore – Trichy
Post breakfast drive to Trichy (Tiruchirapalli), the famous pilgrimage site and a must visit in South India tour packages. On arrival, visit
Ranganath Temple at Srirangam. Transfer to hotel and have lunch. Later, proceed for a city sightseeing tour covering
Rock Fort Temple perched at 23 m,
Srirangam and
Jambukeshwar Temple. Retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 08: Trichy – Madurai
South India Religious Tour today proceeds to Madurai, home to magnificent temples. Breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Madurai. Transfer to hotel upon arrival for overnight stay.
Day 09: Madurai – Rameshwaram – Madurai
Rameshwaram is the most popular destination in tour to South India temples and today after breakfast, we proceed on an excursion to this holy city. Return to the hotel in the evening and stay for the night.
Day 10: Madurai - Trivandrum
Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Trivandrum by road. Check in to hotel upon arrival. Half-day sightseeing tour and overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Trivandrum - Kanyakumari – Trivandrum
Religious Tour to South India today proceeds to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India. Post breakfast drive to Kanyakumari. Return to the hotel in the evening and stay for the night.
Day 12: Trivandrum – Chennai – Departure
South India Religious Tour ends today and you check out from hotel after breakfast to proceed to the airport where you board connecting flight to Chennai. Upon arrival, our representative assists you in boarding onward flight back home.
