Day 01: Arrival at Chennai
South Indian Panorama Tour starts with the arrival at Chennai. Welcome greetings on arrival by our representative at the airport who escorts you to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Chennai – Mahabalipuram – Chennai
Next morning after breakfast, go for a full day excursion to the temple town of Mahabalipuram which is a must visit site on South India Panorama Tour. Witness the beauty of its striking rock carvings and visit the magnificent Shore Temple. Return to Chennai in the evening and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 03: Chennai – Trichy
After breakfast enjoy the sightseeing tour of Cochin covering St. George Fort and St. Mary's Church. Later at noon, drive to Chennai railway station to board onward train to Tiruchirapalli (Trichy). Our representative receives you at the station and escorts you to the hotel for night stay.
Day 04: Trichy
Next morning, leave for a guided city sightseeing tour of Trichy covering the striking temples of Trichy covering St. Joseph’s Church, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Vayalur Murgan Temple etc. Also visit the famous Rock Fort Temple and Srirangam Temple. Retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 05: Trichy - Tanjore - Madurai
The beautiful temple town of Madurai is the next destination of South India Panorama Tour Package. Check out from hotel after breakfast and drive to Madurai. En route enjoy a visit to the places like Chola Temple of Brideshwar. Continue drive to Madurai and transfer to hotel upon arrival where you spend the night.
Day 06: Madurai
Today morning, we take you to the very beautiful Meenakshi Temple after breakfast where you spend the whole day witnessing the spellbinding beauty of its exquisite carvings. Return to the hotel for night stay.
Day 07: Madurai – Periyar
Periyar is the next stopover in your tour itinerary for your South Indian Panorama Tour. Check out from hotel after breakfast and proceed to Periyar by road. Transfer to hotel upon arrival. Relax for a while and later at noon, leave for a visit to the aromatic spice plantations. Also enjoy an exciting boat cruise along the famous Periyar Lake while watching fascinating wildlife from close quarters at the Periyar National Park. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Periyar – Quilon
South India Panoramic Tour today takes you to Quilon (now called Kollam) another popular destination of South India. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Quilon by road. Upon arrival, rest for a while and later in the evening, you could go on a memorable backwater cruise. Enjoy spectacular views of numerous tiny villages en route. Return to Quilon hotel at night for overnight stay.
Day 09: Quilon
Spend the entire day at leisure. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Quilon – Cochin
Cochin is the last stopover in Panoramic South India Tour. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Cochin by road. Check into hotel upon arrival. Later, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Jewish Synagogue and Dutch Palace. Return to the hotel in the evening for a night stay.
Day 11: Cochin – Mumbai – Departure
South India Panoramic Tour ends today. Check out from hotel post breakfast and drive to the airport to board a flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival, we take you on a half-day city sightseeing tour covering Gateway of India, Dhobi Ghat, Rajabai Clock Tower, Marine Drive, Aquarium, Hanging Gardens, Crawford Market, Victoria Terminus and Prince of Wales Museum. Later, drive to the airport to board onward flight back home.
