Day 01: Arrival in Chennai
Arrive at the Chennai Airport, where our representative will be waiting to welcome you and escort you to the hotel. Check in at the hotel and have an overnight stay in Chennai.
Day 02: Chennai
Begin the second day of your South Indian Temple Experience Tour with a healthy breakfast at the hotel in Chennai then head for a full day excursion to Mahabalipuram, a famous seaport that was ruled by the great Pallava Kings between 8th and 10th century AD. Start the 4th day of your South India Temple Experience Tour with a healthy breakfast and then drive your way to Mamallapooram enroute visit Kanchipuram, the ancient capital of the Pallavas. Arrive and check in at he hotel. Have lunch and then visit several antique sculptural marvels of shrines in afternoon in the company of an India Holiday representative. Watch the rock cravings and shore temple of Lord Vishnu. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Mamallapooram.
Day 05: Mamallapooram – Tiruvannamalai - Pondicherry
Have a healthy breakfast and then drive to Pondicherry and enroute visit Tiruvannamalai, a pilgrim center having an ancient temple of Lord Shiva. Then have lunch and continue your drive to Pondicherry, the erstwhile French colony on the east coast of South India. Have an overnight stay in Pondicherry.
Day 05: Pondicherry
Start the 5th day of your South India Temple Experience Tour with a sumptuous breakfast then head for a visit to Aurobindo Ashram, the city of dawn, located at a distance of about 10 kms from Pondicherry. Post lunch visit Auroville, a place where people of all nationalities live together. Have an overnight stay in Pondicherry.
Day 06: Pondicherry – Chidambaram – Tanjore
Have a healthy breakfast and then drive your way to Tanjore enroute visit Chidambaram known for the Nataraja temple. Watch the postures from the famous dance form Bharatnatayam. Then drive to Tanjore and enroute visit the Brass factory at Kumbakonam. Arrive there and check in to the hotel for an overnight stay at Tanjore.
Day 07: Tanjore - Trichy
In the morning after having breakfast explore the famous Chola Temple of Brideshwar at Tanjore and then drive your way to Trichy that is situated on the banks of Kaveri River. Visit the pilgrim center housing the famous Ranganath Temple at Srirangam. Arrive at the hotel and after checking in, visit the temple of Trichy in company of a India Holiday guide. Do pay a visit to the Rock Fort Temple and Srirangam Temple in Trichy. Return for an overnight stay in Trichy.
Day 08: Trichy - Madurai
Begin your 8th day of South India Temple Experience Tour with a healthy breakfast and then drive your way to Madurai housing the most famous Meenakshi Temple. Day 09: Madurai - Trivandrum
Post breakfast head to Trivandrum and on arrival check in at the hotel. Have an overnight stay at Trivandrum.
Day 10: Trivandrum
Have breakfast and then head for a full day excursion to Kanyakumari, the meeting point of the waters of the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal. Visit the temples in the pilgrim city of Kanyakumari. Also visit the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial having a unique architecture. Return to Trivandrum for an overnight stay.
Day 11: Departure from Trivandrum
