Day 01: Arrive at Bangalore
Bangalore is the first destination for your South India vacation. Our representative meets you at the airport/railway station and escorts you to the hotel. Check in and freshen up. Leave for a city sightseeing tour covering
Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha, Venkatappa Art Gallery and
Mahatma Gandhi Road. Return to the hotel for night stay.
Day 02: Bangalore – Mysore
Your tour to South India today proceeds to the princely town of Mysore. Check out from hotel in the morning and drive to Mysore (140 km/4 hrs). Stop midway at Srirangapatnam, the magnificent
Tippu’s Palace, Gumbaz and
Tippu’s Summer Palace for sightseeing. Continue drive to Mysore and transfer to hotel upon arrival. In the evening, leave for a visit to the spectacular Brindavan Gardens that are illuminated at night and look beautiful. Also visit
Krishnarajasagar Dam before retiring to the hotel for the night.
Day 03: Mysore
Enjoy your holiday in South India to the hilt with an unforgettable stay in the picturesque city of Mysore. After breakfast, we take you to the majestic Maharaja’s Palace. After sightseeing at the palace, proceed to the Chamundi Hill, the large monolith of Nandi Bull, St. Philomena’s Church and Mysore Zoo. Stay for the night at the hotel.
Day 04: Mysore – Ooty
The breathtaking hill station of Ooty is the next destination in your South India vacation. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Ooty by road (160 km/5 hrs). Sightseeing at Bandipur and Madumallai Wildlife Sanctuary en route. Enjoy the sweet fragrance of lush tea gardens all through the journey and upon arrival at Ooty, transfer to hotel. Relax for a while and then leave for a city sightseeing tour covering Ooty Lake, Botanical Gardens and Dodda Betta. Night stay at hotel.
Day 05: Ooty – Coonoor – Ooty
After early breakfast, leave for an excursion to another picturesque hill station Coonoor that is a must visit in South India tour packages. Upon arrival, visit the aromatic
Tea Gardens, Sim’s Park, Dolphin’s Nose and the most popular points used for shooting of movies. Evening drive back to Ooty and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 06: Ooty – Coimbatore – Departure
Ooty is the last stopover in your South India travel and today you check out from hotel to proceed to the airport/railway station where you board connecting flight/train to Coimbatore. Assistance on arrival to board onward flight/train back home. South India vacation ends.
