Day 01:- New Delhi -Haridwar
Do Dham Yatra Tour begins with arrival at New Delhi. Here Indian Horizons representative will receive you and help you plan the further journey towards Haridwar. It is considered as one of the holiest places in India that is thronged by millions of visitors from all corners of the world. Upon arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel and take some rest. Later on, proceed towards Har Ki Pauri one of the most famous ghats of Haridwar to take a holy dip in sacred Ganga and then attend the spectacular Ganga Aarti which is among the major attractions of Haridwar. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02:- Haridwar- Barkot
Post breakfast proceed towards Barkot ,186 Km from Haridwar. En- route visit Mussoorie which is also known as the “Queen of Hills”. Visit some of its major attractions like Kempty Falls, Jwalaji Temple, Lal Tibba etc. Upon arrival at Barkot check into the pre-booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03:- Barkot- Yamunotri- Barkot
After morning breakfast ,drive towards Yamunotri ,36 Km drive and 7 Km trek on one side. First drive, towards Hanuman Chatti from here you have to take the local jeep for Janki Chatti From here start the trek to Yamunotri which is around 6 Km from here. After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund there is a rock pillar known as Divya Shilla worshiped before entering the Yamunotri Temple. Here you will find various thermal hot water kunds where one can cook rice by packing it in the cloth by dipping it in the kund. Return back to Hanuman Chatti and then drive back to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04:-Barkot- Harsil
Next morning after breakfast proceed towards Harsil , situated at a distance of 152 Km from Barkot. Harsil is situated at an altitude of 4560 meters above the sea level and is amongst the most beautiful valleys on Earth. En- route visit the Gangnani a natural hot water spring. On arrival at Dharali village which is 2 Km from Harsil check into the pre-booked camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05:- Harsil- Gangotri- Harsil
After early morning breakfast proceed for the next Dham Gangotri. On arrival, take a holy bath in sacred Ganga. Visit the famous Gangotri Temple constructed by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in 18th century situated on the right bank of Bhagirathi. Later in the evening after darshan and pooja return back to Harsil for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06:- Harsil- Haridwar
Next day after morning breakfast return back to Haridwar. Upon arrival check into the pre-booked hotel and take some rest. Later on explore the major attractions of Haridwar that include Chandi Devi Temple, Daksheswara Mahadev Temple, Maya Devi Temple etc. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07:- Haridwar- New Delhi
On the last day of Do Dham Yamunotri- Gangotri Yatra tour package, pack your bags for the return journey to New Delhi.
With this, the blissful and spiritual journey to the most sacred Do Dham comes to an end.
