Day 01:- New Delhi –Leh
Wonders of Ladakh Tour begins with arrival at New Delhi. Here Indian Horizons representative will receive you and help you plan the further journey towards Leh.
Upon arrival in Leh, You will be received from Leh’s Bakula Airport by one of our representatives and transferred to a drive towards Leh. Upon arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel and enjoy rest of the day for leisure activities and for acclimatization. In the evening leave the hotel room and visit its popular attractions like the Shanti Stupa and the Chowkhang Monastery. If you love shopping then visit the local market in Leh. Some of the best buys include Buddhist masks, prayer wheels, Thangka paintings, woollen clothes etc. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02:- Leh- Sham Valley- Leh
Next morning after breakfast proceed towards the Sham Valley which is also known as 'Apricot Valley', being the abode to Apricot flowers that blossoms in the valley during the winter. It is one of the easiest treks and thus is known as “Baby Trek”. The trek starts from Likir stretching from an altitude of 3500 meters to Hemis Shukpachen at 3700 meters. Visit the Alchi Monastery, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hills and enjoy the marvellous views of Basgo, Zanskar and Indus confluence at Nimmu etc. After enjoying all this return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03:- Leh- Nubra Valley
After enjoying morning breakfast drive towards Nubra Valley via Khardungla which is the highest motorable road in the world situated at a distance of 125 Km from Leh. Upon arrival set your camps at the assigned location and take some rest. Later on, visit the silver sand dunes near Hunder village and enjoy camel safari to explore the region and the villages of Diskit which is an 80 Km round trip that gives you a sneak-peak of the lifestyle of the locals. After enjoying the whole day in scenic surroundings return back to the camps for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04:- Nurba Valley – Leh
Next day after early breakfast, visit the tiny and beautiful Yarab Tso Lake, this is also known as 'Hidden Lake'. This crystal clear lake is bounded by barren yet beautiful surroundings that will surely leave you spell-bound. After lunch proceed towards Leh via Khardungla Pass and on arrival check into the pre-booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05:- Leh- Pangong Lake
Next morning after early breakfast proceed towards Pangong Lake through Changla Pass situated at an altitude of 4,400 meters above sea level. En-route treat your eyes with scenic beauty and on arrival set out your camps on the lake side. After some rest, visit the Pangong Lake blessed with the most enchanting surroundings. The water changes its colour with sunlight here. After enjoying the whole day in mesmerizing surroundings return back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06:- Pangong Lake- Leh
Next day after enjoying morning breakfast and enjoying scenic views of surroundings, drive back towards Leh by the same route. On arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel. If you love shopping then visit the local markets and visit the Moti Market, Tibetan Market etc to buy hand-woven rugs, carpets, shawls, prayer wheels, Buddhist Masks, Thangka paintings etc. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07:- Leh- New Delhi
On the last day of Wonders of Ladakh Tour Package, leave the hotel and proceed towards Leh’s Bakula Airport for the return journey to New Delhi.
