Day 2 Matheran
The nearest and the most popular hill stations tour of Maharashtra is Matheran which was discovered in 1850. The hill-station provides panoramic views of the surrounding places. Matheran is a tranquil and a peaceful place quite contrary to the other popular hill stations. No vehicle is allowed in Matheran and the only mode of transportation is horses or handcarts.
