Jejuri Temple is located in the Jejuri town which is situated to the South east of Pune City of Maharashtra. It is one of the revered temples in the state known as the Khandobachi Jejuri. The temple is dedicated to Khandoba which is regarded as the God of Jejuri which held a great reverence by the Dhangars, one of the oldest tribes in India.
Day 01: Pune
Arrive at Pune. After freshen up and lunch enjoy the sightseeing tour of Pune. It is also known as the cultural capital of Maharashtra. The major attractions of the city include Lal Deval Synagogue, Bund Garden, Osho Ashram, Shindyanchi Chhatri and Pataleshwar Cave Temple. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Khandobachi Jejuri
Jejuri is one of the famous temples in Maharashtra. Popularly known as ' Khandobachi Jejuri ' it is one of the major Gods in Maharashtra. As the temple is on the hill, one has to climb almost 200 steps. But the climbing is not so tough and the wonderful view of Jejuri town is marvelous. One can easily see the view of Saswad and Dive Ghat if weather permits and enjoy number of ' Deep Mala ' while climbing the hill. Situated at a distance of 40 km from Pune the temple is dedicated to Mhalsakant or Malhari Martand a God worshiped by Dhangars tribe of Maharashtra. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Departure
The day is free for shopping or other independent activities. Board a flight from Pune from the airport for the onward destination. With wonderful memories the Pune Khandobachi Jejuri Tour comes to an end.
