Day 01:- New Delhi –Manali
Treasure of Ladakh Tour begins with arrival at New Delhi. Here Indian Horizons representative will receive you and help you plan the further journey towards Manali.
Upon arrival in Manali, you will be received by one of our representatives and transferred to a drive towards your pre-booked hotel. Upon arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel and enjoy rest of the day at leisure activities and for acclimatization. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02:- Manali- Jispa
After early morning breakfast leave for Jispa at a distance of 145 Km from Manali through Rohtang Pass situated at an altitude of 13050 ft above the sea level. Enter the Lahaul Valley, visit the Raja Gyepan Temple at Sissu village and enjoy lunch at Keylong. After a visit to beautiful attractions of Jispa check into the pre-booked hotel at Jispa for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03:- Jispa- Leh
After morning breakfast proceed towards Leh crossing through Baralacha Pass at an altitude of 16020 ft above the sea level. It is a beautiful drive on high altitude.. Post lunch drive towards Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang , Tanlang La Pass reach Upshi where you drive along Indus Valley. Upon arrival at Leh, check into the pre-booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04:- Leh- Nubra Valley
Next morning after enjoying the delicious morning breakfast leave for Nubra Valley via Khardungla. This is the highest motorable road in the world at a distance of 125 Km from Leh. Upon arrival, set your camps at the assigned location and take some rest. Post lunch visit the silver sand dunes near Hunder village and enjoy camel safari to explore the region and the villages of Diskit 80 Km round trip that gives you a sneak-peak of the lifestyle of the locals. After enjoying the whole day in scenic surroundings return back to the camps for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05:- Nubra Valley- Leh
Next day after early breakfast visit the tiny and beautiful Yarab Tso Lake, this is also known as “Hidden Lake”. This crystal clear lake is bounded by barren yet beautiful surroundings that surely leave you spell-bound. After lunch proceed towards Leh by the same route crossing the Khardungla Pass. Upon arrival check into the pre-booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06:- Leh - Pangong Lake
After Breakfast leave for magnificent Pangong Lake at a distance of 140 Km from Leh and at an elevation of 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass. Changla Pass is at the height of 17,350 ft and is the third highest motorable road in the world. Upon arrival, set out your camps near the lake side and after some rest, visit the Pangong Lake blessed with mesmerizing surroundings where water changes its colour with the sunlight. The stunning visuals leave you just spell bound. Return back to your camps for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07:- Pangong Lake- Leh
Next day enjoy the early morning picturesque view of the sunrise on the lake and after breakfast drive back towards Leh by the same route. Upon arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel and take some rest. The evening is free for leisure activities. If you love shopping then it is a good opportunity to explore nearby markets such as Moti Market, Tibetan Market etc to buy hand-woven rugs, carpets, shawls, prayer wheels, Buddhist Masks, Thangka paintings etc. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08:- Leh Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Leh that includes its popular attractions like the Shanti Stupa and the Chowkhang Monastery, Spituk Monastery, Phyang Monastery, Shankar Monastery, Leh Palace etc. After enjoying all these striking attractions return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 09:- Leh- Sham Valley- Kargil
Next morning after breakfast proceed towards the Sham Valley also known as “Apricot Valley”, being the abode to Apricot flowers that blossoms in the valley during the winter. It is one of the easiest treks and thus is known as “Baby Trek”. The trek starts from Likir stretching from an altitude of 3500 mtrs to Hemis Shukpachen at 3700 mtrs. Visit the Alchi Monastery, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hills, Lamayuru and Giant Maitreya at Mulbekh. After enjoying all these striking attractions proceed towards Kargil. Upon arrival ,check into the pre-booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10:- Kargil –Srinagar
After breakfast leave the hotel and proceed towards Srinagar which is situated at a distance of 204 Km from Kargil passing through Drass. On arrival check into the pre-booked houseboat and take some rest. Later on, proceed for shikara ride on magnificently beautiful Dal Lake and its surroundings. Return back to the houseboat for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11:- Srinagar- New Delhi
On the last day of Treasure of Ladakh Tour Package explore the striking attractions of Srinagar such as Shankaracharya Temple, Kheer Bhawani, Hari Parbat, Jamia Mosque, Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden and the iconic Mughal Gardens namely Chashme Shahi, Nishat and Shalimar Bagh etc. Later on, proceed to Srinagar Airport for the return journey to New Delhi.
